I think whenever you’re achieving mastery at anything, the more proficient we become the more we understand ourselves, and the more purpose you’ll have behind every photograph you make.

CONTENTS: I will have a deep look at the semiotics of photography. Most of the time we keep looking just at the superficial layer of the image, but what happen if we go a lot further trying to understand the meaning of it. Why some images of the past are still so iconic ? What happen when we combine the form with the meaning of an image ?
There is a lot to talk about and we will go through a fascinating journey reading images and trying to understand how to apply a “sense” to our works.

contents: The study of a photography far from the wedding industry but descended into ordinary life helps us to evolve and to seek a truly personal style. Photographic culture inspires us, guides us, obliges us to constantly question ourselves and, where necessary, to confronts us with choices that often do not accord with the needs of the marketing. We can choose to tell first person stories and to adopt a vision from within the reality of our subjects and their relationships but is it really possible to be free to see, to interpret, to re-elaborate, to bring out the unexpected and to untie ourselves from the constraints of the industry? Is authorial photography a free photography? Is it possible to find a compromise between our personal way to represent and the expectations of our customers? What cost? What risk?
To be inspired by great photographers: we need contradictions to grow, not confirmations. How, at a certain point, we deconstructed our photography.
